How to Watch Golden Globes Without Cable
Golden Globes – Sunday. The annual awards predict an Oscar at the end of this year and can be a great stargazing opportunity while you scoop up ideas for films that you should probably add to your pre-Oscar watch list.
The red carpet is also worth a visit. Last year, the Golden Globes Red Carpet also brought us, among other things, a girl from Fiji.
The red carpet officially kicks off at 6:00 pm ET, although E! will begin its coverage at 16:00. NBC airs a special at 7:00 pm ET, and the awards ceremony officially kicks off on NBC at 8:00 pm ET.
If you have a cable or digital antenna, obviously the easiest way to watch all of this is to simply tune into the TV. If that doesn’t happen, or you’re going to get away from TV during the show, you still have options:
NBC app
If you have cable entry or can borrow a friend’s credentials, you can stream the NBC awards and red carpet via the NBC app.
SlingTV
Sling TVs $ 25 a month Orange’s package includes NBC. If you don’t have a cable, this is the cheapest option.
YouTube TV and Hulu with Live TV
YouTube TV and Hulu with Live TV are offered by NBC and cost between $ 40 and $ 45 per month.
All streaming services offer free trials, so if you haven’t used them before, you can sign up today and watch the games for free and then cancel your account before being charged.
And it’s worth noting: Not every service is offered by NBC in all markets. Make sure NBC is offered in your specific area before signing up.
