Include Your Child on the Santa Claus Text List
Santa may be 1,750 years old, but he can still learn a couple of new tricks. This December, in addition to visiting all the shopping malls on the planet, he will also keep in touch with children (and adults) via text messages.
SlickText , a mass text messaging marketing platform, is helping to spread text messages from the North Pole this year in the spirit of Christmas. Content is kid-friendly, but adults can make the list too. Select “child,” “adult,” or “senior” for messages aimed at different age groups. You can choose several options in the registration form .
Here’s what you get:
You can expect a message from Santa about once every five days, starting December 1st, and then once a day in the week leading up to Christmas. Santa hopes to send in Christmas jokes, sayings, recipes, facts – little reminders to help make the Christmas season exciting. In addition, he may need to check certain facts with you as he makes his list and double-checks it.
And SlickText swears that they (and Santa) won’t spam you – they won’t try to sell you anything or sell your phone number to a third party. When Christmas is over, you will no longer receive messages. “We’re just doing this to cheer up the Christmas mood,” the website says.
