Check for 5G Service in Your Area With Verizon’s New Coverage Maps
Should you buy a 5G smartphone? You probably do n’t need it right now if the price isn’t right and – if you’re a Verizon user at least – your living or work space is within 5G territory, which you can now check thanks to the company’s just released 5G Coverage Maps. If one (or both) do this, the solution becomes a little tricky.
To access the new Verizon cards, simply go to the portal page . No, it doesn’t have 5G coverage maps for the entire United States because it doesn’t have 5G coverage nationwide. What do you think it was? 4G? Pfff.
Instead, click one of the following cities to see what 5G coverage looks like in the area:

- Boston
- Chicago
- Dallas
- Denver
- Detroit
- Houston
- Indianapolis
- Minneapolis
- New York
- Omaha
- Panama
- Phoenix
- Providence
- Sioux Falls
- St. Paul
- Washington
If your specific city is not on this list, and you don’t see it in the following list of cities that should get Verizon 5G service soon, then you definitely don’t need to buy a 5G phone right now – at least not if there is an equally cheaper one. an alternative that does not support 5G.

Of course, if you’re looking to buy a 5G device, your best bet is to borrow a 5G phone from a friend for an hour or so – or take it on a coffee date – and see how the call quality is in different places. you often.
