Make Cookie Monster Your Navigation Voice With Waze
Earlier this year, Waze made Cookie Monster one of their navigation voices . It was fun, but it was also limited participation, which means if you had a Cookie directing you, it eventually disappeared and was replaced by the default Waze voice.
To celebrate Cookie Monster’s birthday (which apparently falls on November 2), Waze is bringing back the vote.
To change your voice in the app, launch Waze and then tap the magnifying glass icon in the lower left corner of the page. From there, click the Settings button in the upper left corner and select Voice and Sound from the menu.
You will be taken to the voice menu. Click “Waze Voice” to see all available options. Cookie is closer to the beginning, but you can also use other languages or one of the other Waze options in English.
It’s definitely a fun voice to take note of and can add a little fun to what might otherwise be a boring commute.
