Avoid Missed Calls With Google’s New Call Gradually for Pixel
In a perfect world, I would leave my phone on all the time. I have nothing against my funny ringtone; I just enjoy feeling the buzz when someone calls than listening to a song. However, thanks to a new update from Google, I can have both – at least on my Pixel.
According to Android Police , Google has quietly launched a new “Gradually Call” feature that allows your pixel to vibrate whenever you receive a call. If you don’t feel it or ignore it, your phone will slowly start to raise your ringtone until you answer. It’s a small tweak, but I love how it bridges the gap between these two worlds: those who want to buzz and those who want to play their favorite 90s alternative rock song every time they get a call.
The only thing I’m not sure about is which pixels will use this new feature. It definitely works on the Pixel 4, and I’ve seen it on my Pixel 3 XL and Pixel 3a. My guess is that the Pixel 2 is probably missing, but I haven’t been able to confirm this in one way or another. (According to our readers, Pixel 2 is already in the game!
To customize this feature, open the Pixel Settings app and tap Sound . From there click on Vibration for Calls , the following screen will open:
To do this, click “Vibrate first, then call gradually”. It’s a simple little adjustment, but I can’t get enough of it.
