How to Watch NFL Week 1 Games Without Cable
The NFL season officially begins on Sunday, with seven games starting at 1:00 pm, followed by six more that day.
Sunday’s games air on FOX and CBS, with the exception of the 8:20 pm game between Pittsburgh and New England on NBC (Monday’s games are on ESPN). You can view the full schedule by game and network here .
The good news is that all of these games are streamed over traditional local networks, so if you have a TV and a digital antenna, you can stream a lot of things on TV for free. And if you are a cable TV subscriber, you can also broadcast these channels for free using your cable login.
Most of the major streaming services offer access to FOX and CBS. They all offer free trials as well, so if you haven’t tried them yet, you can take a test drive and race for free in the process.
Here’s a summary of the options:
Sling TV: $ 25 per month.
DirecTV Now: $ 40 a month
Hulu from Live TV: $ 40 per month.
YouTube TV: $ 40 per month.
PlayStation Vue: $ 45 per month.
FuboTV: $ 40 per month for the first month, then $ 45 per month.
Before you sign up, you will want to check and make sure that both FOX and CBS are offered through the service in your area. While they all offer both networks, not all streaming services offer access to both networks in all markets.
