What’s the Best Fall Activity in Your Area?

It’s fall now, at least on PSLT (pumpkin spice latte time). Temperatures may still drop to the 80s every day, but Labor Day is already here, as is the scent of nutmeg. The Spoopy Memes Insta started posting again. So! What is the best way to enjoy autumn in your city?

What’s the best early fall local activity? Where do you go to spy on leaves? Where do you collect apples? What’s the best farmers market to sell fall produce? Do you know any good corn mazes? Which city is best for an autumn day trip?

Which restaurant has the best autumn menu? Which bar has the best fall beer? (Please don’t recommend pumpkin beer; pumpkin beer is not the best.) Where do you buy cozy sweaters? What are the best local attractions to visit in the fall? Which seasonal businesses will open in the next couple of months?

City dwellers usually have the upper hand in Hack Your City (shockingly), but I feel like the villagers are going to kick our asses this week. I’ll say Central Park and Prospect Park are beautiful when the leaves change, and walking through brown Brooklyn in a pea coat of coffee makes you feel like you’re in a Noah Baumbach movie.

Tell us your best tips in the comments. Don’t forget to name your city so neighbors can find out what’s good. We’ll showcase the best ones in the Staff tab, but there will be more good things in the Community tab.
