What’s in Store for and Out of Netflix in the Week of August 12, 2019

My name Mindhunter is everywhere: the critically acclaimed, drunken original Netflix serial killer series? Great summer fun if there ever was one! But I couldn’t get into it! I think my problem with Mindhunter is my problem with biographical photographs : I can’t get rid of the fact that the actors are portraying real people, and I spend my time watching a documentary on this topic, not a facsimile … But I’m in the minority! You will spend the next weekend completely absorbing yourself in Mindhunter: Season 2 (Friday). Will Bill and Holden finally earn the respect of their bureau colleagues? (Or did they earn respect last season? I only watched four episodes of the first season).

What will I watch? Diagnosis, the series is based on the New York Times’ medical secrets column of the same name. Or sekstuplety in which future father discovers that he is one of six brothers and sisters – and all of them are played by Marlon Wayans. Netflix describes him as “Dirty, Dumb,” which means I probably hate him, but I’ll check him out if I only see Wayans take on six roles – three more than Mike Meyers in Austin Powers. one less than Eddie Murphy in The Nutty professor.
