Apple Credit Card Won’t Sync With Budget Apps Like Mint
Apple’s stylish new credit card is starting to arrive in a select few digital wallets, but the Apple Card has one major limitation that might surprise you: you can’t export your data to financial apps. Apple uses Mint as an example, explaining that exports are “currently not supported.”
According to The Verge, Apple Card is currently in preview only and only a random selection of people who signed up for the waiting list can apply for the card. Wider implementation is expected at the end of August.
By then, perhaps Apple will have overcome the technological hurdles and add its map to budgeting apps like Mint, YNAB, Clarity, and many, many others you may prefer. But with an attractive display for cost analysis, it looks like Apple wants to be that budgeting app for you, at least in part.
Since Apple Card works with Apple Wallet on iOS devices (with a physical card available), you can potentially go about your day to day activities using Apple Card as your primary financial tool. Mac Rumors even indicate that , you can check the transaction data and the analysis of expenses only on iPhone or iPad – at the moment there is no representation on the desktop.
