Amazon Prime Students Can Get Unlimited Music for $ 0.99.
If you’re a college student with an Amazon Prime Student account , you can now add Amazon Music Unlimited to this membership for an additional $ 0.99 per month.
Existing customers can simply add benefits to their account, and students who haven’t tried the service yet can sign up for a free 6-month trial.
In case you’re unfamiliar, Prime Student is the discounted version of Amazon Prime specifically designed for college students. Amazon is offering Prime Student at 50% off, which is $ 6.49 per month. You have access to most of the traditional Amazon Prime benefits with the program, but you don’t have access to the Kindle Owner’s Lending Library, 20 percent off diapers, or family benefit sharing.
If you are already an Amazon shopper, then this deal shouldn’t be difficult. The Prime Student and Unlimited Music subscription will set you back $ 7.49 a month.
Amazon Music Unlimited typically costs $ 7.99 a month for Prime members and $ 9.99 for non-core members, so $ 0.99 is a pretty sizable discount. The service offers access to over 50 million songs.
If you’re not an Amazon shopper, the deal might be less enticing. The Spotify student offer is $ 5 per month , but also comes with Showtime and Hulu. Apple Music also offers its student services for $ 5 a month, but does not offer any additional bonuses.
Anyway, if you are a student who loves music (that’s almost all students, right), then there are discounts on streaming music this school year.
