Get Android 10 Digital Wellbeing Features Now With This App

With Android 10, Google plans to launch the Digital Wellbeing app. The app is designed to help you focus on the time you spend with technology and disconnect more often so you can enjoy the world around you, not just the world on your phone.

Similar to Apple Screen Time, the app will tell you that the app’s dashboard lets you know how often you check your phone throughout the day and use different apps.

If you’re looking to give it a try and don’t have a beta phone with Q or one of the limited devices that already has it installed, ActionDash offers most of these features now. An update was also released this week that added a new “focus mode” similar to what will be added in the next version of Android.

This focus mode allows you to select the apps that are distracting you and then set it up so that your phone blocks you from accessing those apps by default when you need to focus.

ActionDash works on phones running Lollipop or later. The app can tell you how long you have been using your phone in your daily life, as well as what you are doing during that time. You can also customize your day to start at a specific time. For example, if you usually go to bed around 2 a.m., your new day might start at 3 a.m., rather than midnight, so that statistics are counted correctly.

The app is free to use, but it offers additional features like dark mode for a $ 7 surcharge.
