Get Free Artificial Pet Food at Petco This Weekend
If you’ve been looking to improve your dog or cat’s diet for a long time but have been waiting for a great opportunity, this weekend might be your chance. Petco will rid you of food containing artificial ingredients in exchange for a free food package without artificial ingredients.
If you bring a bag or jar of artificial pet food with you, you get free in-store nutritional advice and free meals. Depending on the choices available, participants may choose to:
- One 6 lb. (or less) bag of dog food
- One 4 lb. (or less) bag of cat food
- Three 1.05 to 3.5 oz. cans, cups or bags of cat food
A few caveats: you must be a Pals Rewards member (you can register online ) and there is a limit of one exchange per species, per family.
The event , which will take place on May 18-19 at participating Petco locations , is part of the company’s commitment to improving its food standards . Starting this month, Petco has removed most of its dog and cat food with artificial colors, flavors and preservatives from its shelves.
