How to Use the New Instagram Quiz Stickers in Your Stories
Instagram added poll support to Instagram Stories two years ago. Today, this feature has gone even further with the introduction of the new Quiz feature, which allows you to ask your friends multiple choice questions in your stories.
(You could already do this with polls, where you propose two options and let your friends vote between them. This feature gives you multiple options to choose from, as well as the correct answer.) To test out the out function I created this intriguing quiz about whether my dog is really the cutest dog in the world.
The photo on the left is what I saw when I created it, and the photo on the right is what my friends see in my story.
To create a quiz, you click on the sticker button (the same you do to pull out things like GIFs and dates) and choose “Quiz” from the options that appear. If you launch Instagram and don’t see the quiz option, make sure you have the latest version of the app installed.
A field with a test will appear from there. You enter a question at the top of the box and then questions below it. To create a quiz, you must have at least two questions, but you can include up to four.
After you have entered all of your answers, you will touch the “correct” one on the page. When you do this (just for you), it glows green, so you know which one you have chosen.
After that, you just post things as usual. When your friends see your message, they can choose their answer from your quiz. They will immediately see if they were right and their response will be sent to you so you can also see what they did.
