How to Virtually Visit 31 National Parks Using Google Maps
Today, all US national parks can be visited for free thanks to the start of National Parks Week.
If your dream park is across the country and not in your backyard, Google is also offering tours of 31 US parks this week, allowing you to virtually explore places you might not otherwise be able to get to.
You can access the guided tours of the park here .
Parks include Badlands National Park, Big Bend, Death Valley, Everglades National Park, Joshua Tree, Mount Rainer and others.
When you follow this link, each park will appear as a bubble on the ground, which you can click on to go deeper. On the side of the page there is also a list of each park with a small thumbnail picture, clicking on one of them will also launch your virtual tour.
It’s definitely not quite the same as being there, but if you can’t get to the park this week, this is a good way to check it out.
