Use Priority Pass to Get $ 28 Off at Select Airport Restaurants

If you’ve used Priority Pass to access your airport lounge, you might be disappointed with the free meal offerings, depending on where you are. But there is a way to get better food without spending more money.

One benefit you may not be aware of is that Priority Pass offers food credits, typically $ 28, in partnership with some airport restaurants, as Sally French writes for Wirecutter . This helps to cope with overcrowding and gives participants additional privileges. French explains (emphasis mine):

In some restaurants, you can invite a guest too, earning you and your lucky friend a total of $ 56 (even if your friend doesn’t have a Priority Pass).

You just show your card and order from the menu and you get $ 28 off. You are hooked for any expenses over $ 28 and the tip is always additional ( you should tip the full amount, not the amount of the discount you are paying ).

This is great if you arrive early at the airport (or have a stopover) and don’t want to deal with potentially substandard offers in the lounges themselves. French also notes that she uses the perk to get food for later:

Sometimes I am not hungry at the airport as I did when I stopped in Sydney on my way to Queensland, Australia. When I landed in Sydney, I went to Movida (a restaurant that offers AU $ 36 off the bill) and got a grilled pumpkin and hummus sandwich ($ 14) and a chocolate croissant ($ 6), which I put aside the next day to eat … while hiking in Springbrook National Park .

The Priority Pass website notes that the offer “may vary by location and / or time.” Points Guy has a list of all Priority Pass restaurants in the US and internationally.

To become a Priority Pass member, you either need to register on its website (you pay an annual fee and then pay per visit) or access it via a bonus travel card if you have one, such as Chase Sapphire Reserve. or The Platinum Card from American Express, which includes it as a privilege.
