Delivery of Baby Goods to the Place of Your Vacation

When you have a child, going on vacation is a bit like moving out of a small apartment. Babies need a lot of things – diapers ( so many diapers), diaper cream, tissues, formula and food. Some parents choose to run Target or Costco when they arrive in a new city, but the last thing I want to do after a long day of traveling with a child is to move that child elsewhere. My favorite solution: Bring all the essentials for the flight (and a little more for comfort) with you, and send the rest directly to your destination.

I know parents who use Amazon Prime to deliver diaper boxes to their hotels, and it’s free (just be careful with the two-day delivery promise ). Most hotels are used to receiving parcels for guests – call the front desk or the business center and ask which address is the best for delivering the goods. Make sure the name on the package matches the name of the registered guest. (On the “Attn” line, you can also add “Hotel guest: [Your name]” and your room number, if you know it.) If the package arrives before you, notify the hotel and ask to keep it for you. Some hotels may charge a service fee.

Please note that Airbnb does not recommend that hosts allow guests to receive packages at the hotel. If you are staying at one of them, an alternative is to use Amazon Locker .

Delivery of baby supplies is an easy way to lighten the burden. Now you have more space in your suitcase for earplugs for fellow travelers on the plane and some cocktail mixers for you .
