How to Stream 2019 Grammy Awards Live Without TV
Tonight is the Grammy 2019! The show, hosted by Alicia Keys, officially kicks off at 8:00 pm ET / 5:00 pm PT on CBS.
Kendrick Lamar will receive eight awards tonight for his work on the Black Panther soundtrack, giving him a lead in the nominations. Right behind him is Drake with 7 nominations and Brandi Carlisle with 6 nominations.
Aside from the actual awards ceremony, tonight’s main event will feature performances by everyone from Cardi B to Diana Ross. If you have a TV and want to watch the show, your best and simpler solution is to tune in to the live broadcast on CBS, either through a cable subscription or a reliable digital antenna (seriously, buy one. They cost $ 15).
If you don’t have a TV (or just want to watch movies away from home), you still have a few options:
CBS Full Access
While all major streaming services offer free trials, CBS All Access is your cheapest option if you’re one of those people who will inevitably forget to cancel that free trial. The service costs $ 6 per month for coding with ads and $ 10 per month without.
However, live streams are not available everywhere. Check here if your region supports live streaming.
DirecTV Now, Hulu With Live TV, YouTubeTV, FuboTV, PlayStation Vue
DirecTV Now, Hulu With Live TV, YouTubeTV, and FuboTV offer CBS live streaming in most markets, and all four offer free trials of their services. If you forget to cancel this free trial, all four will run for $ 40 per month. PlayStation Vue also offers CBS in most markets, but prices are slightly higher at $ 45 per month.
Be sure to pay attention to the “for most markets” statement and make sure yours is one of them before signing up for a particular service.
Sling TV is the only major streaming service that CBS doesn’t offer.
