KonMari Your Twitter Feed With This Tool

I may not want to follow the nearly 4,000 people on Twitter . If I followed fewer people, my schedule would be less chaotic and hectic. But it’s hard for me to unsubscribe! This is why I am testing so many different tools for this particular function . And right now , the Maria Kondo-dedicated Tokimeki Unfollow tool is helping me do some deep cleaning by canceling my subscription in one go.

As creator Julius Tarng reveals in the tweet above, Tokimeki Unfollow shows you the latest tweets from the same account you follow (from your earliest followers, from your most recent, or randomly of your choice). You tell Tokimeki if these tweets are causing joy. If they do, you will continue to monitor this account. If they don’t, you unsubscribe.

As with the physical KonMari, this process can be time consuming. You cannot cancel your subscription with one click. But a thoughtful pace will help you make every choice wisely and avoid the dizziness of evaluating hundreds of accounts at once. The tool saves your progress so you can go through the process piece by piece. Close it and come back later, resuming your work on any device that is signed in to your Twitter account.

Tokimeki Unfollow is another free tool from the increasingly dominant Glitch programming community in the world. Whether you’re a web developer or learning to program, Glitch is the trendy place to build and release your web projects right now. Other popular projects featured on Glitch include Which Domain Is More Expensive? , a game in which you try to guess the domain names that squatters ask for the most money for. I got 9 out of 10! Okay, back to higher priorities – like cutting my Twitter feed.
