Use Alexa As a Translator With This Skill
Over the past few years, I have started to travel a lot around the world, which means learning new languages.
While I have definitely reached the age where fluency in a completely new language is out of the question (to be honest, this was true for me at 18), I always try to learn the basics of the language before I go anywhere – something new. And learn to pronounce these basics correctly. If you are in the same boat, the Alexa Translated skill can help you.
With it, you can say something in English and ask for a translation into another language.
It currently supports American Spanish Arabic, Basque, Brazilian Portuguese, Catalan, Chinese, Czech, Danish, Dutch, Finnish, Flemish, French, French Canadian, Galician, German, Greek, Hebrew, Hindi, Hungarian, Icelandic, Indonesian, Italian , Japanese. , Korean, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, Slovak, Spanish, Latin America Spanish, Swedish, Swiss German, Thai, Turkish and Welsh.
The app only works for translating things from English into another language, not the other way around. If you are having trouble understanding something, you can also ask him to speak a little slower so that you can understand it.
This skill will not teach you a new language, for which I recommend Duolingo, but it can help you learn to speak correctly on the fly or quickly resolve an argument about the correct pronunciation of something, which is much easier than pronouncing Google Translate.
