Most Inspiring Fitness Achievements of 2018 From Our Readers
We asked what you accomplished in 2018 and we’re pretty damn impressed.
Body transformations
If you don’t want to read about losing weight, skip to the next section. If you do, well, we have a lot of people to congratulate.
In April, Noodlesintheface set a goal to lose 70 pounds by October. They tracked everything, even a small rebound after reaching their goal, and plan to continue the journey in 2019. Their advice:
What I did succeed was the lack of days off after collecting the data. If I ate it, it signed up, and I stepped on the scales every day. I found how tempting and tempting it would be to eat something instead of logging it and then not weighing it in the next day because “oh, that’s going to be good, but today I’ll be fine and I’ll collect the data again tomorrow. ”, But this is just a lie to myself.
Diazdiem lost 30 pounds and became a real monster on an elliptical trainer . Sahdu added walking and running to his routine and also lost weight. Mimamasaid has lost 90 pounds after working on it for several years.
Isamael also lost weight and even monitored their resting heart rate:
Shirley Franklin lost 30 pounds and became a runner. Jobisnyder lost 40 pounds and accidentally realized that they also ran an ultramarathon.
You people beasts
TheBobCat1 has run over a thousand miles this year :
Banannerpants was injured and lost his style, but was still able to continue doing CrossFit. About iproks suffered several injuries and played the wedding, but completed in 2018 in better shape than the beginning.
Wiskertriskit has gotten better at boxing. Alison Gee started doing CrossFit. CherryPop77 began with small daily yoga classes, and ended with the thin and engaged in a circular training and dancing in hip-hop style. DrZ trained like a fur seal:
Hooch gained a hundred pounds in squats in a year. BlueMage cycled a hundred miles in one day. Jaimon lifted 210 kilograms, which is equal to the manatee.
Alice ran her first half marathon and plans to run more. Berna is working on her 10K time. 6thTimeAround followed a home improvement training plan by installing drywall and then marveling at the resulting muscle.
RunsNakedWithScissors stops eating ice cream late at night, which is one of the hardest things to do. (Just kidding, but not by much.)
