There Will Be No Mail Delivery Tomorrow

The United States Postal Service announced that it will suspend mail delivery tomorrow in connection with the National Day of Mourning in honor of former President George W. Bush. Post offices across the country will also be closed.

Former President Bush passed away late Friday night and his memorial service at Washington’s National Cathedral will take place on Wednesday.

“We will provide limited parcel delivery services on this day to ensure that our network remains mobile and we do not experience any impact on our parcel delivery operations that could negatively impact our customers or business partners for the remainder our busy holiday season, ”the postal service said on its website .

The stock market will also be closed in honor of the late president.
