Place a Cutting Board in a Baking Sheet to Catch the Drain of the Turkey

In an ideal world, we would all have beautiful, huge cutting boards carved from free-range trees with grooves around the edges to catch any runoff that might come from cutting meat. But hell is empty, the devils are here, and my cutting boards are grooved.

Luckily, you and I don’t need a great cutting board to keep turkey (or other meat) juice from spilling out onto our countertops, floors, and clothes – you just need a rimmed baking sheet that I’m sure you have. Place a cutting board on a baking sheet and cut as usual, enjoying the mess you do n’t. (What if you’re even a little like me rarely happens.)
