Detroit is not a very tourist destination. But none of our most successful Hack Your City options like Pittsburgh or Minneapolis-St are either . Gender . This is “Hack Your City” for local residents and for everyone who happens to be in this city on a business trip or on a transfer. These aren’t exactly glory days for Detroit, but the area is home to over 3 million people – they definitely have something to do.

So Detroiters, what’s good about the city? What gets better, or what gets a bad rap? What’s wrong and how to deal with it? And what would you say to someone who scoffs, “Never go to Detroit?”
