What’s in Store for and Out of Netflix in October 2018

Netflix is ​​betting on Halloween this month, releasing a new set of original horror and horror films and shows every Friday. There are also new non-scary stuff like Samin Nosrat’s Salt Fat Acid Heat cooking show. Here’s everything that happens on Netflix in October.

Other classics coming out on the 1st include Billy Madison , Glittering Saddles , Empire Records and A Never Ending Story .

Shows

Sabrina the Teenage Witch gets a darker, more trashy reboot in Sabrina ‘s Chilling Adventures . The Castlevania anime returns for season 2. There’s a season 2 of Super Monsters for kids and a new anthology called Creeped Out. There are many more things with titles like The Haunting of Hill House that we’ll leave to reviewers to analyze. The one that really keeps us awake at night is probably the second season of Making a Killer .

Or watch something soothing: Chef and culinary specialist Samine Nosrat hosts a show based on her deconstructed cookbook, Salt Fat Acid Heat . You can also try the fourth installment of Terrace House : Opening New Doors , which we were told is the best season of soothing reality television.

Comedy

Joe Rogan, Ron White, Mo Amer and Adam Sandler have new specials this month, and two of Kevin Hart’s already existing specials arrive on the 1st. Comedian Hassan Minhaj is hosting the new weekly Patriot Act show. And in the TV series “Geeks” presents comedians Big Jay Oukerson, Joey Diaz, Lisa Treyger, Yamaneyka Saunders, P. Christine and Brad Williams.

Last call

Netflix actually loses a lot of horror in October, including Scream 2, Curse of Chucky, Human Centipede 2, Babadook and Donnie Darko (really what is Donnie Darko’s genre ?).

October also means Vending Places , Boogie Nights , Bad Boys , Sin City , All-Metal Jacket , Freaks and Geeks Season 1 or 90210 seasons 1–5 will no longer be available.
