Use This Tool to Find Products Manufactured by the Union
Unions are good, and according to a recent Gallup poll, most people want to support them . Given their tumultuous year, this support is greatly appreciated. In addition to not crossing the picket lines, you can support unions in a simple way – buy goods produced or distributed by union members.
If you don’t know how to do this, Labor 411 will make it easier for you. Just enter what you are looking for in the search bar, for example: “candy”, select your region and hit “search”. You will then be presented with a list of options, as well as information on which unions are involved in creating this product. (There may be more than one!) This is how I found out that See’s Candy workers are members of the United Food and Commercial Workers Union, which is pretty cool because this is my favorite boxed chocolate.
