Resize Your Windows Apps to Any Size With Sizer
Windows: It’s been a long time since we talked about the Windows Sizer app recently rewritten to be more compatible with Windows 10 applications. It’s almost embarrassing given the usefulness of this little utility. By pressing a few buttons on your keyboard, you can resize apps on the screen to whatever sizes you want, giving you even more control over the look of your apps than the default Windows 10 commands.
Sizer is convenient in that it allows you to assign specific sizes and positions to hotkeys. Depending on how creative you want to be, you can create a hotkey that automatically moves the app to the center of your monitor at exactly 1080p – or even to a corner if your monitor is large enough and you want to watch a little YouTube while you work. If you prefer one window configuration for web browsing and another for programming (or gaming), Sizer makes it easy to send your applications wherever you want (also with ideal height and width).
The utility is also great for multi-monitor setups as you can now tweak keyboard commands to determine the window size and which monitor the application should display on. And if you don’t remember the hotkeys very well, all you have to do is right-click on the border of any active window to access the Sizer selection – a menu that you can also completely customize with your own sizing configurations. depending on how much time you want to spend creating the perfect Windows look.
