How to Use Instagram’s New Questions Feature
People have always been able to reach out to the Instagram users they follow and get replies to their comments using the messaging feature built into Instagram Stories. Thanks to a new question sticker pioneered on Instagram, you now have a more formal (and fun) way to interview your followers, fans, and friends.
A button that Instagram users can add to a photo or video of a story – like any other sticker – allows your friends to ask you a question, which you can then answer in future Instagram Story posts.
When you ask your followers to send you questions, they can print their thoughts by clicking on a sticker in your story. You will see their questions appear in the same place where you go to see how many people have viewed your story – they won’t just appear in your inbox.
If you see a question you want to answer, just tap it. This will launch a new story post that you can use to write your answer. The original question will appear as a sticker along with your answer, but the photo and username will not.
If you don’t see the New Questions sticker in the Instagram app, make sure you update it to the latest version for iOS and Android – version 52 is what you need.
