Making Fitness Trail Exercises Even More Challenging
You can get any workout level with our fitness program , no matter what equipment you find . We’ve already discussed several ways to make the exercises easier if that’s what you want, but now let’s talk about how to get an even harder challenge.
- Run more. If you’ve been walking or jogging between stations, try to run harder. If the stations are close to each other, get off the trail every few stations for extra distance.
- Wear a weighted vest. Everything will be more difficult, especially the pull-ups.
- Exercise on one leg or one arm. Jumping or squatting is great on one leg. Try one-arm push-ups using a simpler push-up station (higher bar). Work on a one-arm chin by grabbing a pair of rings at different levels.
- Deep hop. Jump between the bars, but when you push off, push hard and try to jump forward . My hands ache from just one viewing, but it has to be a hell of a hard workout.
Have you found any creative ways to use equipment on your fitness trail to make it more challenging or just fun?
