Here Are Our Favorite Westworld Podcasts

The last time Westworld went on the air, we had a different president. The show is finally back in the 2nd season this Sunday, and the production of podcasts “Wild West” again in motion. During HuffPost first season averaged 28 Damned podcasts “Wild West” , and since then there have been a lot more. It will be bad for us when these shows become popular. Here are the best ones.

(One side note: Despite all the ads on Lifehacker right now, this is not a sponsored post! We just love podcasts and Westworld .)

If you’re not afraid of theories that become the occasional spoiler, subscribe to Decoding Westworld . Leading David Chen and Joanne Robinson (who also conducts podcast “Game of Thrones,” “Kings” ) discuss the theory and fans appreciate each episode. They treat the show as a story and a puzzle, and their conversation has a smart and friendly vibe, sort of like NPR’s pop culture happy hour . As the redditor notes , Chen is Scully as a pair, and Robinson is Mulder. In the first season, she promoted all the crazy fan theories she could find online, and she usually turned out to be right. (Poor Bernard.) Episodes last from one to two hours.

If you only want to hear about fan theory, listen to Out West , a podcast from Josh Topolsky, Jeremy Gordon, and Casey Johnston’s Concept. (Gordon and Johnston replace last season’s co-hosts Adrianne Jeffries and John Lagomarsino.) There are eight episodes in total, each “just” an hour long. This is one of the most engaging Westworld podcasts, with lively conversation and challenging discussion.

Another favorite of the fans – « Watching Westworld» of podcasts «Bald the Move » . Each episode takes over two hours, spanning an hour-long episode of the show. The hosts, who have covered dozens of TV shows, bring a little more skepticism to the show’s quality than Chen and Robinson, but the season finale won over both.

Television podcasts have to decide whether to shut down in the off season, and in the “World of the Wild West” – damn offseason. Westworld decryption was closed for more than a year. Westworld: The Podcast continues with episodes of related stories, interviews with cast, and even a revision of the entire first season – they released episode 72 yesterday. Beyond Westworld found a good balance with just two postseason episodes and a new season 2 episode preview covering the entire promotion and rumors of the new season of the HBO show.

The Dollars and Sense of Westworld discusses the business and economics of the fictional Westworld. The hosts are kind of amateurish and hard to hear, but they get a lot of humor and ponder while exploring the possibility of creating a giant theme park full of killer sex robots.

And if you want, you can do a couple of dozen more shows . There are very low production values and dodgy reasoning here, but if the above shows leave you much to be desired, you may need to continue your search in this maze.

But wait. At the end of Season 1, In the West co-hosts Topolski and Jeffries envy all viewers who managed to avoid all rumors, discussions and fan theories and who were able to experience all the revelations, armed only with their thoughts. What if you watched the show in season two … didn’t listen to the podcast? Without checking the subreddit ? No tweets?

Hahaha no, that wouldn’t be fun!
