Amazon Mobile App Made International Shopping Much Easier
Amazon updated its mobile apps on Tuesday to make shopping easier when in another country.
The new version of the app lets you browse Amazon in five different languages (English, Spanish, Simplified Chinese, Brazilian Portuguese, and German) and see product prices in 25 local currencies, so you always know how much you’re paying, no matter what you pay. the currency is local to you, reports The Verge .
Perhaps the best addition is the ability to filter items based on where they can be delivered. When you’re shopping in a country that doesn’t have its own dedicated Amazon site, it can often be difficult to find an item to ship to your address. This feature saves you the guesswork and lets you know ahead of time what might be delivered to you and, more importantly, how much that delivery will cost.
New international shopping settings have started rolling out today (you can find them in the Settings menu at the bottom) and are currently only available on the mobile app.
