Bulk Removal of Apps and Website Accounts on Facebook

Most people use their Facebook accounts to log into websites and apps regularly, but after the recent privacy scandal at the company, it became clear that this could put your personal data at risk. To its credit, Facebook has provided the ability to delete these logins for years , but until now, it has always been a tedious process one at a time.

The company recently added a bulk delete option to the app’s settings page. This is what it looks like in the Facebook mobile app:

To access this page, go to Settings & Privacy in the Facebook app. Then select “Account Settings” and scroll down to “Apps”. On the next page, select the first option “Signed in with Facebook” to open a list of all applications and websites that have access to your Facebook account.

Previously, Facebook forced you to uninstall each app individually, which was time consuming. You can now select multiple apps at the same time by clicking on the empty circle next to each one. When you’re ready, click the Delete button at the top of the page, and then click Delete again to confirm.

The same feature works on the Facebook desktop website as well. Just go to the app settings page and select the apps and websites you want to uninstall.

Unfortunately, Facebook still doesn’t offer a “Select All” option to uninstall all of these apps at the same time – the core option. However, the process of uninstalling apps is gradually getting much better than it used to be.
