How Much Money Did Your Congressman Take From the NRA?
We’re at a point where almost everything you read might be fact-checking, especially when it comes to politicians.
When it comes to weapons, this problem seems to be exacerbated somewhat.
The ” Follow the Money ” Chrome extension replaces the twenty members of Congress who receive the most funding from the NRA, including the amount of money they borrowed from the weapons organization whenever you mention them.
For example, instead of “John McCain”, you will see “John ($ 7,740,521 from NRA) McCain” whenever his name is mentioned.
The idea is that regardless of your view of the weapon, having this information on a line whenever you read an article about one of these people can help balance your view of what the story might be told about.
If you just want to know how much money your congressman received from the NRA, but don’t want to see it all the time for everyone, you can also find this information here .
