Most Netflix users have a queue of movies and TV shows on their watch list, but finding things to include on that list can be tricky.
For the past few days, I’ve settled down on the couch in the living room with something like the flu, but probably just an incredibly epic cold. Between doses of cold medicine and sleep-induced fever, I slowly made my way in line on Netflix. It was a feat that I never thought I would finish, but as it turns out, it only took me three days and an inability to move to see it all. Now what?
After starting and stopping about 10 movies that “looked fine,” I tried Flixable , a Reddit user CrazedEll .
A search engine for Netflix, with it you can search all movies and TV shows on Netflix by genre, IMDb rating (so you know it’s going to be decent) and release year. You can sort the results by release year, rating, title, or when added to Netflix (useful if you are looking for something “new” for yourself on the platform.
The result is a much richer search than you can get on Netflix itself, which displays movies and shows in the first place, you might not have noticed that we are on the platform. Ranked search also gives you the chance to avoid failure.
