These Facebook Groups Help You Master Instant Banking
Instant Sweat has been a toy kitchen to give and receive this holiday season, but their black box vibe can be a little intimidating at first. If you’re a little overwhelmed by all of these buttons and features, just breathe deeply and take the safety-by-numbers approach of the Facebook Instant Pot Group.
As with any cult device, there are many online groups, from the most vague and extensive to extremely specific. These groups are huge – expect you to read the word “hubby” for a bit – and they are a great source of general advice, tasty tips, and (of course) recipes. (You will need to request membership in order to join most of them, but if they accept people like me, you should have no problem signing in.) Here are some of our favorites:
- Instant Pot Recipes and Tips for Newbies : This group is great for crowdsourcing recipes, gaining control over all those buttons, and soothing the nervousness of newbies.
- Instant Pot Vegan Recipes : Everyone should eat more vegetables, and you don’t have to be vegan to enjoy all of the creative, plant-based recipes on offer in this group.
- Instant Pot Vietnamese Food Recipes : Fast, flavorful pho is the only reason you need to join this group, but don’t sleep too much with bo-ho, sticky rice, and milk tea.
- Simple Reset and Run Instant Recipes : This group contains only the simplest fix and forget recipes for easy cooking from one appliance.
- Instant Pot for Indian Food : The Instant Pot quickly handles grains, legumes and sauces with strong flavors, which works very well for Indian food. As someone looking to give up food to go, I find this group extremely exciting.
That should be enough to get you started, and of course, feel free to leave any successful IPs in the comments below. I still really love these short ribs.
