This Android Smartwatch Is Getting the Oreo Update
Google announced last week that Android Oreo is starting to roll out to Android Wear devices .
The update includes a new setting for the strength of the notification vibration, the ability to touch lock for wet conditions, new notification channels and background battery saving restrictions, and support for seven new countries.
But it won’t be available for all smartwatches. As with newer versions of Android, only select devices will receive the update, and the release time will differ from manufacturer to manufacturer.
This is Google’s official rundown of which Android Wear watches currently have the update, as well as those expected to receive it in the future:
The Android Wear Oreo (8.0) update is already available for the following watches :

This watch will continue to receive updates, but its core operating system will remain on Nougat.
As for when you can expect an update to be released, if your watch is on this list, the launch date will vary by manufacturer. But keep your eyes on your eyes – it will probably be soon.
