An Ugly Holiday Sweater Could Bring You Free Early Landing in Alaska and Virgin Next Week
If you’re on an Alaska Airlines next week, it’s worth dressing up (or putting it down?). For one day only, the airline allows customers who arrive in ugly holiday sweaters to receive free priority boarding on December 15th.
The promotion celebrates National Ugly Holiday Sweaters Day (because we all knew for sure it was a day, right? ¯ \ _ (ツ) _ / ¯). The official announcement of the day also does not specifically require you to wear an ugly sweater, but only a “festive holiday sweater.”
The deal is good for Alaska, Virgin and Horizon Air flights. Alaska doesn’t explain exactly how you get into early boarding, so there might be a group of Ugly Sweater resorts. If you are all dressed on the 15th and flying with one of these airlines, I would recommend checking in with the exit agent when you arrive to receive specific boarding details for your flight.
