Amazon’s Best Black Friday Technology Deals
It ‘s just over a week away from Black Friday , and we already know what to expect from some of the biggest tech companies. Microsoft and Google recently announced their upcoming discounts, and now Amazon is offering a look at what they’ve planned for the big day.
Here are some of Amazon’s best Black Friday deals on new gadgets, from Echo smart speakers to 4K TVs.
Amazon Echo Devices
If you’re ready to try out one of Amazon’s voice-activated speakers (or just want to add another Echo to your collection), there are tons of options to choose from. The company is offering discounts on a range of models from the Echo Dot to the new Echo Plus.
On Black Friday, you can get the Echo Dot for as little as $ 29.99 with a $ 20 off. Amazon is also churning out $ 20 with the second-generation Echo (up to $ 79.99) and $ 30 with the Echo Plus (up to $ 119.99). The biggest deal is reserved for Amazon Tap, a portable Bluetooth speaker with Alexa controls, which will be dropped by $ 50 (to $ 79.99).
As an added bonus, Amazon is offering a smart plug for just $ 5 – that’s a $ 20 discount – assuming you also buy an Echo speaker.
Amazon and Kindles Tablets
Amazon is also offering discounts on its Kindles and Fire tablets for Black Friday.
In terms of e-readers, you can save $ 30 on the Kindle Paperwhite (up to $ 89.99), which features dimmable light and an anti-glare display so you can use it in the sun. There’s also a $ 30 discount on the entry-level Kindle (up to $ 49.99 total) and a $ 30 discount on the Kindle for Kids Kit (up to $ 69.99), which adds a 2-year warranty and protective case to the regular Kindle.
As for tablets, Amazon is cutting $ 50 off the Alexa-enabled Fire HD 10 , bringing the price down to $ 99.99. Also dropping the price of the smaller Fire HD 8 to $ 49.99 with a $ 30 off.
If you’re shopping for your kids, you can save $ 30 on the Fire 7 Kids Edition (up to $ 69.99) and $ 40 on the Fire HD 8 Kids Edition (up to $ 89.99). For both models, you can also save an extra $ 10 if you buy two at the same time.
TVs and other gadgets
Amazon is positioning the mysterious “Premium 40” Smart TV as a killer TV deal for just $ 279.99, but we’ll have to wait to find out the exact model. Until then, there are many options to consider.
If you are willing to pay more, there are several reliable options. On Black Friday, you can buy a 75-inch Sony 4K Ultra HD Smart LED TV for $ 1999.99 (up from $ 2498.00). The company’s 70-inch model will also get up to $ 1,199.99 off the current price of $ 1,498.
Amazon also teased that you can save up to $ 100 on PlayStation VR kits. The company will offer discounts of up to 40% on gaming laptops, desktops and components; together with up to 25% discount on selected 3D printers.
