Grammarly IPhone Keyboard Fixes Your Tinder Texts and Messages
I’ve been using Grammarly for the past few years. The service corrects your spelling and grammar on the fly, and the Chrome extension is great at helping me spot tiny typos and misplaced commas in emails or even Lifehacker messages that I add to our CMS. Now Grammarly has expanded one more place: your iPhone .
The service this week announced a new iPhone keyboard that provides software for checking the grammar of your texts, emails, and the like that you send from your phone.
The software was developed by “some of the world’s leading authorities on linguistic technology” and is capable of detecting spelling and grammatical errors, as well as pointing out sentences that may be confusing and difficult to understand to others.
Yes, your phone’s built-in spell-checker can already do some of that, but as we all know, iPhone’s built-in AutoCorrect is not entirely accurate. The keyboard works with everything from Tinder to Twitter. If you choose the Grammarly Premium version, the keyboard will also suggest different words you should use or style improvements in your writing.
I really enjoy using the Chrome extension (and recommend downloading it if you haven’t already). Even after executing what I wrote through the spelling and grammar checker in Word, it still shows errors that I didn’t realize myself. If you are not already connected to the iPhone keyboard, then downloading it is easy.
