You Can Now Search on EBay by Image
Searching on eBay requires faith – believing that the seller listed their item with the same keywords that you would use to describe what you want. Sometimes you have different ideas about what turquoise is. Sometimes you have an idea of what you want, but you don’t know the name of a particular style. Well, now this picture is all you need.
TechCrunch reports that eBay has launched an image search that allows you to take a photo or upload one from your camera roll and use it to search listings of sites. Another new feature, Find on eBay, lets you start your search from any image you find online or on social media.
These features are, at least for now, only available for mobile devices. Image Search is available on iOS and Android, but Find It On eBay is only available on Android. And desktop users, you just have to keep using your words.
