Here’s What’s in Store for and Out of Netflix in November 2017

Every month Netflix makes changes to its lineup , adding familiar and new content to its streaming service, and this November is no different. Netflix will add a few of their favorite movies and shows to their online catalog this month, as well as a handful of Netflix Originals movies. Get ready to say goodbye to some cinematic masterpieces (depending on who you ask), as well as some movies that, frankly, should only be broadcast as a last resort.

Basic moments

Netflix’s newcomers include several strong hitters such as Marvel’s The Punisher and Spike Lee’s It Must Be . The Punisher follows anti-hero Frank Castle’s quest for justice and arrives on November 17th. She Must-Have This , based on Lee’s 1986 comedy film of the same name, is out on November 23, just in time to watch the binge after you eat your Thanksgiving dinner. Netflix will also debut Mudbound on November 17, both on its streaming service and in theaters. This is a Netflix original film about the aftermath of a family’s move to Mississippi during World War II.

Fans of humor can look forward to new special comedies from Netflix Original, such as How to Become Black by actor / comedian Dray Davis (Relax, He’s Black), Nunchucks and Flamethrowers by Brian Regan and Mea Culp . The second season of Lady Dynamite by Maria Bamford will be released on November 10, as will the first season of Trailer Park Boys : Out of the Park: USA .

Netflix will once again be leaving several iconic films and TV shows this November. Much to the dismay of fans all over the world, the entire Matrix trilogy disappears on the first of the month, as does V for Vendetta (couldn’t wait for November 5th , huh?). All nine seasons of How I Met Your Mother are just around the corner. The departure of Human Centipede: First Sequence from Netflix is ​​probably for the best, but the deletion of a really good movie, the psychological thriller Hard Candy, left me a little disappointed (and relieved that chats were a thing of the past).
