October Cash Challenge: Clean Your Toilets for Cash
The end of the year is fast approaching, and as December approaches, we want to focus on saving for the holidays. So, this month our challenge is simple: clean up our toilets and make some extra money while you’re at it.
This challenge has a twofold purpose. First, you will get rid of all the trash that is just gathering dust in your closets. Second, you’ll earn extra money to pay for your holiday expenses, from travel to parties and gifts.
So set aside some time this month to go through your closets and collect any unnecessary items, whether it’s an old phone that you were about to resell or a bunch of clothes that you never, never wore . Donate what you can’t sell, then plan a garage sale or list your stuff on eBay, Craigslist, Amazon, or any of the many apps that allow you to exchange your stuff for cash. (Tip: Review your completed eBay listings to get an idea of where your item goes.)
