Students Can Now Dial up Hulu and Spotify Premium for As Little As $ 5 a Month
If you’re currently in school, Spotify and Hulu just announced a pretty good deal. The duo offer Hulu and Spotify Premium together for just $ 4.99 a month. The Verge notes that this is already the cost of the Spotify student plan , so they basically add Hulu for free.

To qualify, you must be a student who is currently enrolled in a US Title IV accredited college or university and be 18 years of age or older. Student status is verified by a third party service called SheerID .
The deal must be purchased directly through Spotify and not from a third party such as your cellular operator. If you already have a Hulu account, it can be combined with the Spotify Premium Student + Hulu plan.
If you already have a Spotify Premium Student Plan, you can simply activate Hulu in your account, provided you can verify your student status. The deal won’t work for Spotify Premium users who are on a family plan or pay for Spotify through a partner.
And if you are not a student, there is still a chance that something like this could be in development for all clients. Both companies called this step “the first step” in co-financing their services.
