What Should We Do Next?

Hello sous-vide friends, and welcome back to yet another exciting session ofWill It Sous Vide? , the column where I do whatever you want with my immersion circulator.

The banana pudding party last week was a lot of fun, mainly because I had to eat a lot of banana pudding, but now we have to move on to another sous video experiment. Some ideas that have been in the air for weeks:

  • Frozen Lasagne: As with Hot Pockets before, frozen sous vide lasagna could be the most evenly cooked frozen lasagne of all time. I would also use my flashlight, which was always a good time.
  • Bread: People keep offering bread and I don’t know why. The immersion circulator will not get hot enough to form a crust, but I think we could investigate the situation with low-temperature bread . (I really think we could do a great test with this thing.)
  • Another full meal: Fin Flang Flareon offered a food-in-a-bag situation with fried pork, black beans and rice, bananas and yucca root, and I don’t mind.
  • Lamb Neck: I just haven’t eaten a lamb neck for a long time and I think it will go very well in our culinary hot tub.

As usual, feel free to add ideas of your own not listed, in the comments, and don’t hesitate. I’m in the mood to do something really weird this week, so go crazy.
