Airlines Waive Flight Change Fees to Avoid Tropical Storm Harvey
Tropical Storm Harvey is looming on the Texas coast, poised to hit a massive hurricane Friday night. Local authorities prepare for emergencies, but if you’re not on the Gulf Coast yet, the best thing you can do is stay out of the way.
The Points Guy reports that six airlines – American, Delta, Frontier, JetBlue, Southwest and United – are waiving flight change fees to and from affected airports over the next few days. You can rebook your planned trip or change your itinerary if you had a planned storm zone connection. Each airline has its own restrictions, so check with your carrier, but the sooner you rebook, the better your options will be.
