What Do You Want to Know About the Loan?

Whether you like it or not, credit matters. And it’s not just about a car loan or buying a house. Your landlord is checking your credit. When you apply for a job, your employer can also check your credit. Account providers are even allowed to charge you extra fees for bad credit . The whole system is confusing, so tell us: what do you want to know about it?

Credit is not the most exciting topic in the world. In fact, it may be one of the least exciting topics in the world. Like many other personal finance topics, we try not to think about a loan because it is boring, difficult and confusing – and that’s when it helps us. So, to put it all together, financially, we want to spend the next few weeks breaking it down.

In a series of posts, we’ll cover the basics of how credit works and how you can improve yours. We will cover topics such as:

  • The Difference Between Your Report and Your Grade (And Why You Should Care)
  • How to find out your result and get a copy of the report
  • How FICO calculates your score
  • How to increase your score and credit in general

But we also want to make sure we answer the questions that matter to you. So tell us: what do you want to know about the loan? Any question is worth asking, no matter how simple or specific, so don’t talk below and then search for our first post on the topic on Friday.
