How to Download the Windows 10 Creators Update Now
Microsoft’s latest update for Windows 10 brings a lot of cool features that range from legitimate enhancements to exciting new features, and will kick off with the motherboard next week. But you can download it today.
According to the official Windows blog, which details deployment in detail, all you have to do is use the Upgrade Assistant . With this tool, you can manually request an update from Microsoft and launch it today. Otherwise, you can wait until the 11th so that Windows can download the update in the background, as it usually does. Upgrade Assistant is intended for people already using licensed versions of Windows 10.
Personally, I think the most exciting thing about this so-called Creators Update is the new MS Paint with 3D modeling. I look forward to spending hours every day painstakingly re-creating the entire Toy Story starring Andy. Other features include clearer privacy controls to control what Microsoft can see about your use, new ways to stream your games, as well as a dedicated “game mode”, Windows Ink on tablets, and more. We’ll take a closer look at when the update officially launches next week.
