Will It Be Sous Vide? Let’s Pick a Different Theme!

Greetings submersible circulation pump enthusiasts and welcome back to yet another session on topic selection forWill It Sous Vide? , a weekly column where I do whatever you want with my immersion circulator.

St. Patrick’s Day is fast approaching, and while I’m not a green beer fan, I’m a big fan of corned beef and cabbage, and thank the reader who wrote to me for trying sous look, which is a special treat. If you guys don’t like this – and I suspect you will – here are some more ideas:

  • Ice cream: This is a great way to make custard and I’m open to any flavor other than rum raisins.
  • Some types of sausage : both sausage and pate were suggested and I think the terrine can be fun too.
  • Beef Stew and Kale: I’m just repeating this here because I think it would be really really great.
