Prepare Fresh Pasta on a Grater
The most time consuming step in making fresh pasta is not making the dough, but making it in the form of noodles. To make a bowl of fresh, rustic pasta without touching the rolling pin (or pasta machine), all you have to do is grab the grater.
As Justin Chapple demonstrates in the video above, you need to start by kneading a bowl of your favorite pasta dough (any basic recipe will do) and letting it sit for about fifteen minutes. Divide the dough into two balls and grate each of the large holes. Leave the resulting slices on a cutting board for another fifteen minutes to set, then bring to a boil and enjoy your favorite sauce.
