ViewRanger Helps You Find and Save Nearby Walking Routes
iOS / Android: Walking is a great way to exercise and explore at the same time. ViewRanger is a free app that shows you nearby trails and tells you everything you need to know about them.
The app includes thousands of travel guides around the world with detailed topography, difficulty level and total miles, so you know exactly what you’re walking on before you set out on your hike. You can also save these routes to your account to check them later. Download them and you can even access them offline.
ViewRanger recommends that you create an account to use it so you can save your data and access it later – however you don’t need to create an app to use it. Best of all, the app takes you on your hikes so you can track your progress on the go.
