Hopper Adds a Breakdown of Airline Fees to Avoid Unexpected Costs When Booking a Flight
Android / iOS: Hopper is a great app for all kinds of personalized flight information, and today it is receiving an update that confuses all airlines with surcharges so you are not surprised when you actually board a flight.
Hopper’s main appeal is to find the cheapest ticket, but one big problem with these cheap tickets is the fees. Some airlines charge fees for checked baggage, others even charge for carry-on baggage, so the price you get when looking for tickets does not always reflect the actual cost of the flight. So now Hopper will help you figure it out with the new Fair Bear. When you go to book a ticket, it shows you all the additional fees, from cancellation costs to carry-on fees, so you can choose the flight that suits you. The update is available for Android right now, with iOS coming out later this week.
